REJECT PROP 12 - Ridgefield School Levy
Proposition 12 isn’t just a “renewal” but a 41.7% revenue increase—that's DOUBLE since 2019. Meanwhile, Ridgefield schools’ academic performance continues to disappoint. Giving big raises via an illegal teachers' union strike should not be rewarded, or more will follow. Enlarged salaries now threaten other services, not the lack of tax revenue. Vote “No” to make Ridgefield come back with a more reasonable levy request and demand accountability. For more info, click HERE.
REJECT PROP 13 - Ridgefield School Capital & Technology Levy
Proposition 13 claims to reflect community feedback and fiscal responsibility, yet it repackages past rejected bond projects, including turf replacement, into an easier-to-pass levy. Shockingly, only 7% of the $22 million will actually fund technology, while taxpayers shoulder a 72.7% increase in school tax rates if both levies pass. Ridgefield schools already underperform, with little accountability for previous funding. Reject wasteful spending masked as “smart strategies.” For more info, click HERE

VICTORY!!!: Charter Amendment #18 Is DEFEATED!!!
WATCH VIDEO EXPLAINING THE LIFE & DEATH OF KIMSEY'S ATTEMPT TO HINDER FUTURE INITIATIVE EFFORTS
Government officials, not ordinary citizens, are pushing this amendment, which shifts redistricting power away from a balanced, bipartisan committee to the County Council and County officials. This change would enable the majority to stack the committee, increasing the risk of gerrymandering that serves politicians, not voters. This amendment paves the way for district lines that favor political elites over the will of the people. Reject this dangerous power grab.
The proposed amendment expands government officials' power to limit future petitions by expanding subject limitations and allowing them to hinder initiatives under the guise of legal opinions and financial estimates. With no appeal process for potentially debatable opinions and estimates, government officials would have an outsized influence on worthy citizen initiatives that could be suppressed. Reject these added restrictions and requirements that could undermine the right to petition.
